Public Lecture: Israeli Perspectives on (New?) European Antisemitism

Public lecture by Prof. Dr. Amos Morris-Reich (Tel Aviv University, Academic Guest of the Exchange Program «Knowledge in Society» 2020) on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 18:15

by Victoria Laszlo

The lecture attempts to develop an Israeli prism for addressing certain kinds of contemporary European expressions of ambivalence and/or resentment towards Jews, Jewry, and Judaism. In this context, special attention will be paid to ambiguities, contradictions, and methodological hesitations in appreciating the European situation after 1945 and following the establishment of the State of Israel.
